Former UN Secretary General, Mr. Ban Ki-moon visited Daegu Health College, Daegu , South Korea.
Mr. Ban Ki-moon , Former UN Secretary General visited Dr. Sung Hee Nam, AUAP President and President of Daegu Health College on March 6, 2018. On this special occasion, he also delivered a special talk on the topic " UN Sustainable Development Goals and Public Health".
"Mr. Ban Ki-moon as the Secretary-General of the UN, was responsible for several major reforms on peacekeeping and UN employment practices. Ban has taken particularly strong views on global warming and peacekeeping on the Darfur conflict in Sudan. Ban was named the world's 32nd most powerful person by Forbes in 2013 and the 3rd most powerful among South Koreans in 2014. He was also named one of the top 100 global thinkers in 2016 after his achievement in making the Paris Agreement.
